Why a direct transport instead of groupage?

Classic forwarding relies on multiple transshipments: your shipment is taken to a hub, reloaded, redistributed and only delivered after several handling steps. This is cost-efficient but slow — and risky for sensitive or urgent goods.

A direct transport removes every transshipment. The driver picks up your shipment, loads and secures it personally and drives directly to the destination. This reduces additional handling and makes it easier to agree individual schedules and transport requirements.

We are based in Vienna, but your collection address need not be. We arrange direct transport across Austria and Europe in both directions, with individually planned collection and delivery locations.

We plan possible transit time using collection and delivery addresses, vehicle availability, loading times and traffic. Statutory driving and rest periods must be respected. Same-day delivery depends on scheduling and operational feasibility; overnight and next-day deliveries have an individually agreed deadline.

On a direct transport the vehicle carries only your shipment from pickup straight to the destination — with no transshipment, no other customers and no intermediate storage.

We check the earliest collection time against location, vehicle availability and shipment details, then agree it before the trip.

Time-critical, high-value or sensitive goods — spare parts, prototypes, trade-fair equipment, IT hardware, medical goods or production-critical materials.

Each trip is more resource-intensive, but transshipment, warehousing and waiting times disappear. For time-critical or sensitive cargo this is usually the most economical choice.
